1. Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how FleetUp ("FleetUp", "we", "us") collects, uses, discloses and protects personal data when you visit our marketing site at fleetup.in or use the FleetUp fleet operations platform (the "Service"). It applies to information about prospective customers, end users of the Service, and visitors to our website.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide: contact details (name, email, phone) when you request a demo, sign up, or correspond with us; account profile data; bookings and operational data you enter into the Service.
Information collected automatically: log data (IP address, user agent, pages visited, timestamps); cookies and similar technologies used to keep you signed in and to measure site usage at an aggregate level.
Information from third parties: integration partners (e.g. Tally, FASTag providers, payment processors) may transmit operational data to FleetUp on your behalf, in line with the integration you've configured.
3. How we use information
We use personal data to: (a) provide, operate and improve the Service; (b) authenticate users and protect against unauthorised access; (c) respond to support requests; (d) send service-related notices and, with your consent, marketing communications; (e) comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
4. Customer Data & the operator role
When you use the Service to manage your fleet operations, you ("Customer") determine the purposes and means of processing data about your end users (drivers, passengers, clients). FleetUp processes that Customer Data on your behalf as a data processor / service provider, in accordance with your instructions and our agreement with you.
5. Sharing & disclosure
We do not sell personal data. We share data with: (a) sub-processors who help us run the Service (cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics) under contractual confidentiality and data-protection terms; (b) integration partners you have authorised; (c) authorities, where required by law; (d) successors in the event of a merger or acquisition, with continued protection of personal data.
6. Data location & transfers
The production Service is hosted in India. Some sub-processors (e.g. email delivery) may be located outside India, in which case we use contractual safeguards to protect your data in line with applicable Indian and international data-protection norms.
7. Security
We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you to use strong, unique passwords and enable any available account-protection features.
8. Retention
We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations (including tax and accounting requirements), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Customer Data is retained per the terms of your subscription; on termination it is made available for export and then deleted within a commercially reasonable period.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you. Email privacy@fleetup.in with your request and we will respond within a reasonable period. If you are an end user of a Customer (e.g. a driver or passenger), please direct rights requests to that Customer in the first instance, and we will assist them as needed.
10. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and to measure aggregate site usage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some features of the Service may not function correctly as a result.
11. Children
The Service is not intended for, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from, individuals under 18.
12. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-product notice. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
